Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for the first year of the PhD Program (see Program’s Structure) amount to 1,000 EUR per semester and are paid at the beginning of each semester. Graduates of the MSc Programs of the Department (Full-time or Part-time) who enter the first year of the PhD programme are exempt from these fees.

Tuition fees for the second year of the Program amount to 300 EUR in total for both semesters and are paid at the beginning of the academic year.

PhD students are required to pay tuition fees only for the first two years of their PhD Thesis writing. The fees amount to 300 EUR per year and are paid at the beginning of each academic year.

Tuition fees are set and may be changed by decision of the General Assembly of Special Composition of the Department.

 

Scholarships – Teaching Assistants

The Department of Economics provides a number of scholarships to PhD students annually. All scholarships are granted solely on the basis of academic performance.

PhD students may be employed as teaching assistants in the courses of the Undergraduate or Graduate Programs of the Department. Teaching assistants are reimbursed on the basis of decisions of the General Assembly of Special Composition of the Department.
