The Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics & Business (former School of Economics and Business) pioneered in organizing postgraduate studies in Economics in Greece since 1978, both at Master’s and doctoral level. During its long history, the Master’s Program of the Department of Economics has trained highly-qualified economists, many of whom now hold academic and research positions in universities or occupy high level managerial positions both in Greece and abroad.
The MSc in Economics full-time Program awards the degree of Master of Science (MSc) in Economics with specialization in one of two specializations:
• Economic Theory (English-speaking program)
• Applied Economics & Financial Analysis
The MSc in Economics Part-time Program awards the degree of MSc in Economics with specialization in one of two specializations:
• Applied Economics, Strategic Decisions & Market Regulation
The Program is run by the Graduate Studies Committee of the Department, subject to the decisions of the General Assembly of Special Composition of the Department of Economics of AUEB.
